I still can't believe I get to watch movies with you guys. This one was so fun and cute, a longtime staple in my childhood home, a movie my mother and I can quote back and forth. Janie and PFT picking out all the characters they'd like to play, the ones with the most actor work, affectations, cadence and accents (ie the most fun to play) was adorable. Watching this movie with this watchalong is my new Christmas tradition.
It is so fun to watch along with you two! Neither of us had seen this movie before. I love Paul’s 1930s clip he gets to his voice when he’s imitating actors of this time.
Just had to point out that given PFT’s comment that Fred Gailey using the dictaphone in his office was just like in Double Indemnity, that the actor who played the in-house psychologist was the witness from the smoking deck of the train in Double Indemnity! And one of the two mail sorters was Jack Albertson, of Grandpa Joe and “…and the Man” fame. Hope you guys have a wonderful holiday!
Just finished this magical watch along! I have the vudu purchase copy and want to let you know if you don't that there are no credits at the end on that hahah
I believe in people. I really do. Happy xmas. Happy holidays. You both bring that holiday cheer into this household.

That was such a fun watch-along. Thank you! We laughed a lot and it was a really pleasant experience overall.
"Lotta chin clefts in this movie." 😂
