Love you guys. I can’t wait to listen and I just wanted to say that all week, my back has been completely shot. As I type this, I’m nervous to cough because I know it will make my back angry. I hope it gets better for you soon!

My wife just came home from listening to the ep and said “Jamie’s back is all fucked up like yours!” She’s convinced that because I have been a VERY LOOSE acquaintance of Paul’s that we would all be great friends. I’m gonna let her hang onto that but I’ve assured her that if anything we’re “professionallly adjacent.” Hahaha better luck having coffee with our mutual friends Caissie and Matt.

My favorite part was when you did Drunk History but instead of alcohol it was muscle relaxers and instead of history it was plot of planet of the Apes

Guilty pleasure=pleasure couldn't agree more! Like what you like without worrying about others...and guilty displeasures, I am 100% on board.

I'll say it here not super sold on the Beatles. I can appreciate people's joy from them, not for me.

Dude! But they’re The Beatles! 🤗

I’m sorry you guys are struggling. I’m struggling too, but I’m grateful for you two for making me laugh at the end of a rough week. Janie, if you have any family in Lebanon I hope they’re safe ❤️

Is this the week of throwing out one’s back? Mine went out on Thursday and it’s still seized up. So weird that it also happed to Janie and so many fans in this thread. Sending good thoughts to all in this predicament! May our muscles relax.

Ok, weird! There’s an epidemic!!!

Sorry you’re down, Paul. Things are pretty gross and scary right now, I hope you find time for yourself to recharge in whatever way you do. Keep an eye out for the nice things. And Farting Preacher. There’s always Farting Preacher.

Love you guys so much! Janie I am sorry about your back. I had spinal fusion several years ago and I totally get how debilitating back pain can be. The best thing I have found as far as topical products is a cbd rub from Root of Life out of Oregon. https://rootscbd.co/cbd-topicals/.the icy rub full spectrum is THE BEST and lasts a long time. Also only has a few ingredients.

I have occasional nerve pain in my left foot, and sometimes it’s awful. I’m going to try this. Thank you for the recommendation!

Paul I am sending you love for your travels and performance. I get how anxiety and depression creeps in. I know you will be amazing and I look forward to you coming to the Seattle area someday. (Pretty please:)

I love the podcast. Im not so much a fan of the crumbling of society which you mentioned this month. My wife and I call it the fabric of society and some days its a little worn other days there's barely threads holding things together.

I love you both so much! Came here to say that, and two more things:

1) society is indeed falling apart. I want to do something about it but I don’t have any idea what I can do. I work with kids. Maybe that’s something.

and

2) I’ve never seen Planet of the Apes, but that’s about to change. Janie, you and Paul made it sound amazing.

Also 3) Janie, I hope your back feels better. And please tell Paul to break a leg! I would love it if he would bring Varietopia to Austin TX.
