My delayed reaction ad shocked I forgot to listen sooner!

Pasta can be made with egg and flour (I did a class) but can be made with just water and flour I suppose if vegan or when money was tight etc.

I enjoyed hearing about friendship breakups and getting over people. I think I have learned to deal with this alot better. I realise a friend this happened with was really no good for me in the end she sucked me dry with all her problems & her partner and when I needed her was told to get over myself. I they are with now married to different people!

Paul's Stephen Fry impression is pretty good. Paul's is one of few Americans who get the UK accents really spot on! Stephen Fry is amazing man to listen to so cultured but humble and reminds me that him and Pauk almost seem like they should have been around in Victorian times!

I believe in past lives! My deja vu experiences are very visceral, although it doesn’t always feel like a past life. I was very intrigued by Paul pointing out that you feel the deja vu, keep feeling it, and then it just goes away! Very mysterious!

Also my husband and I went to see Varietopia in Boston a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic!! 10 out of 10 would recommend! (Except for the driving in Boston part, that was terrible and always is—but we got a hotel so split up that part and that made it better!)

I love listening to the insight that you two have on relationships. It resonated so deeply in me when Paul recognized that he wishes he could have been okay with himself instead of needing a relationship to make him feel like a valid person.

I think the inclusion of a hard boiled egg in an unusual place is a solidly midwestern thing. My husband and I went to a Thanksgiving dinner years ago cooked by my dad’s wife’s kid whose family extends back to Oklahoma. After we filled our plates we went to pour the delicious gravy from the gravy boat (which is arguably the best part of Thanksgiving) and these huge chunks of hard boiled eggs came plopping out with the gravy. We were disgusted, but they ate it up like hard boiled eggs in Turkey gravy was no big thing. It still makes me gag to think about it, but I guess it’s a style of cooking that some people like.

I have spent a lot of time in Ukraine with family and friends. It’s virtually impossible to sit down for a meal that doesn’t include hard boiled eggs in some form or another. My Ukrainian partner packs a hard boiled egg in my work lunch box on most days.

OK. Speaking of deja vu. I swear Jessica Chaffin has talked about that Ohio Italian restaurant on Ask Ronna. Either she or a guest in that ep knows the owners (?). Wish I could remember the guest.

Re riding the rails - always feels insane to me that you don’t have all streamers, just because you’re In the Biz and I have this underlying feeling that you get access to any streamer you’ve ever worked on. That said if they did that I guess they’d pay you less.

Anyway, general question to all Stay F Homies, any Apple TV recs? About to do a month for Severance and want to maximise it. I’m in the UK but don’t think it’s that different with Apple.

PACHINKO and BAD SISTERS!!! Generally some really good stuff on there. A real oldie but I thought LOSING ALICE was not discussed enough when it came out.

Your Friends and Neighbors is great on Apple TV. Love me some Jon Hamm. Also Mythic Quest is very fun, brought to you by many of the gang at Always Sunny.

Look this is going to sound incredibly offensive but “abbondanza… Abu Dhabi!” made me feel like I was in SaTC2. Not helped by an ensuing anecdote about Samantha!

Thanks for the Sinners review - been wanting to see it but don’t like scary films. Will give it a go…

There’s a Murdoch mysteries episode that’s very flat liners-esque….ive binged the series at least 3 times so you cannot know how much it delights and kinda pisses me off when Kristian bruun is referred to as constable johnstable lol not sure which season or ep but it’s a crazy concept that I bet med students actually contemplate or maybe did in real life (in case that’s where the idea came from) Had to mention before I go down a thousand other streams of thought listening to yall!
