Dear Homekins huns,
Due to unforeseen travel hiccups, we will be releasing the new episode of the STAY F. HOMEKINS podcast 48 hours late.
We are very sorry and can’t WAIT to record a fresh, hot podcast for ya!
To whet your whistles, we’ll be rolling out one of our bonus episodes before the weekend has concluded.
So, get PUMPED to watch your inbox in the coming days for the episode we recorded after we dared ourselves to watch the ENTIRETY of VANDERPUMP RULES just so we would know what “Scandoval” means??? Why did we do that to ourselves??!! 😂😂
Peace and love to all,
Janie (& PFT)
The Billboard Music Awards air on November 19, and the eligibility window was November 19, 2022 to October 21, 2023.
The CMA Awards aired on November 8, and the eligibility window was July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
The People's Choice Country Awards aired on September 28, and the eligibility window was August 12, 2022 to August 11, 2023. They nominated Ingrid Andress for The New Artist of 2023, she had been nominated at the ACM and CMA and Grammy Awards of 2021.
The ACM Awards aired on May 11, and the eligibility window was November 16, 2021 to December 31, 2022, plus Album of the Year nominees could have come out in the two years before that if they reach a new peak on the charts and have not been a finalist before.
The CMT Music Awards aired April 2 and they don't seem to advertise what their eligibility window is. They're done entirely by fan vote, and all nominees have to have appeared on CMT during the timeframe, whatever it is.
The Grammy Awards aired February 5 and the eligibility window was October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022. The eligibility period for next year's Grammys ended September 15, 2023.
It looks like the problem is that it takes 4 months for the nominations window to close and for multiple rounds of votes to be counted, and before you know it, you're celebrating music that's potentially from a year and a half ago, which is forever in today's culture.
You get what you pay for!
