However, we have made a possibly reckless decision to get through this very strange turning of the year from 2024 to 2025 in America. We have decided to record reaction podcast episodes to coincide with season 10 of the Bravo reality television series that takes place in Janie’s hometown of Charleston, SC called SOUTHERN CHARM. Look, we may or may not have nicknamed it DAMP TRASH when we started erroneously watching it several years ago as research for a TV project we pitched. It’s just not a very educational show, so we know we lose brain cells watching it. But we allow ourselves to addictively commune with a few reality TV shows for ESCAPE. We are looking for a bit of a departure from HEAVY THOUGHTS. So, we hope you will join us for that kind of respite.

Season 10 just premiered last night, so we are already behind one episode, but starting next week, we will roll out that puppy! They show new episodes weekly Thursday nights on Bravo and then repeat the episodes Friday nights on Peacock.

If you were part of our PUMP-N-DUMP series of reaction podcast episodes, then you know we did a run of reality TV conversations alongside every episode of season 11 of VANDERPUMP RULES. Some folks watched the show then listened along and some folks JUST listened along. There’s no right or wrong way of consuming our podcast bonus content! We are just happy you consume it AT ALL. It gives us so much joy to have something to record for listeners. Especially at a time when we need a little bit of community and ever-so-light, feather-weight harmless character assassination for a bit of jocular sport! Yeah, we definitely pick devils and angels when we watch reality TV. Correct me if I am wrong, but it feels like it is constructed FOR THAT EXACT REASON????????
