A forgotten podcast, that was a pre-pandemic 2020 blast from the past!

You know how you may have participated in an enjoyable thing in 2020 immediately BEFORE the lockdowns occurred yet have absolutely NO recollection of it, UNTIL, that is, it is somehow brought to your attention again? 2023 feels like waking up from a fugue state and needing to repopulate your brain with memories of the BEFORE TIMES.

That happened to me last week. I was reminded of this OUTRAGEOUSLY cheeky episode of GAYEST EPISODE EVER !

I was generously invited to participate in this fun table read of a GOLDEN GIRLS spec script written by Glen Lakin and co-produced especially for your ears by Drew Mackie. More credits below the break as taken from their podcast’s home page, as well as the episode itself.

Anyway - I desperately want my memory of it returned, so I need to listen to it myself to see if I can get that black hole formed back into reliable grey matter. Please enjoy the episode!

Have you seen that one Golden Girls where Blanche accidentally sexes a man to death and the girls have to hide the body? Well, your answer should be no, because that episode didn’t air back in the day. It's a script written by our own Glen Lakin and then, for the purposes of this episode, read by a host of our actor friends. It’s fucked-up and funny, and we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate our fiftieth episode. Here’s to another fifty!
